A French Bulldog
for Every Season
.
French Bulldogs have been the inspiration for artists for
hundreds of years and they have certainly inspired ME! I was amazed by
how few books were devoted to this wonderful breed. Therefore, I set out
to capture the essence of the French Bulldog character in all its many
moods: the Frenchie at play, the Frenchie having fun, the Frenchie at
rest, and the Frenchie being a dog – all in a lifestyle atmosphere.
During the adventure and the creation of this book, I photographed more
than 100 French Bulldogs in both the United States and Canada. If you
are new to this breed, I hope my pictures will give you a good sense of
the French Bulldog character. And if you are amongst the fortunate to be
“owned by a Frenchie,”
I hope my photos
make you smile and nod in agreement.
The Heart Thieves: Enchanting French Bulldog
Puppies
.
The sweetness of the little ones seemed to come up quite often in
discussions or through email from the readers of my first book, A
French Bulldog for Every Season. So, I decided it was time to
create a new book. My goal with this book was to capture the character
of these tiny French Bulldogs – their spunkiness and their wonderful
sweetness – and to show how having one is in itself a reason for
celebration. Because they are, forever, "thieves of your heart". Enjoy!
