Michele Copen is a native Californian who lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area. She grew up in Los Angeles, and went on to UCLA, where she earned a degree in graphic design. She has worked in the creative field as a graphic designer and photo art director for twenty years. Over the last ten years Michele has added lifestyle photography for families, children, and pets to her professional repertoire.

Michele and her husband, Ken, are huge animal lovers and share their lives with their French Bulldogs. They spend much of their free time with other French Bulldog enthusiasts; Michele is active in the regional French Bulldog Club as well as in the national club, the French Bull Dog Club of America, and participates in both clubs’ events.

When Michele isn’t taking photographs or working on design jobs, she enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her husband and Frenchies.
