A native Californian, Michele Copen grew up in Los Angeles and went on to UCLA, where she earned a degree in graphic design. She spent the next 18 years in the creative field, working as both a graphic designer and as a photo art director. Michele has spent years photo art directing in the studios and on location for major corporations. In the last few years, Michele has added lifestyle photography for family, children, and pets to her repertoire. She also continues her graphic design business in the San Francisco Bay Area. Michele, and her husband, Ken, are huge animal lovers and share their lives with three French Bulldogs and three cats. Their free time is often spent with other French Bulldog enthusiasts. Michele is active in the regional French Bulldog Club as well as in the national club, the French Bull Dog Club of America, and attends both club’s annual events.
